"<Product> User" roles (in addition to Viewer & Admin roles)
Right now, there are two levels of pre-defined roles: "Viewer" and "Admin".
However, sometimes you don't need all of the Admin permissions, but you still need to make some changes in the system as normal operations.
This has been already done for App Check but not other products.
Cloud Firestore:
Let's take the Firestore roles as an example:- Cloud Datastore Viewer (A generic Firestore viewer permission)
- Cloud Datastore User (A service account for manipulating data in the Firestore databases)
- Cloud Datastore Owner (A generic Firestore owner permission).
And then, there are specialized roles with viewer/admin level access for certain types…

Persisted indexes in the Realtime Database
The indexes in the Realtime Database are created in-memory and on-the-fly - and they are 'garbage collected' when memory is needed for something else.
This makes it expensive (meaning high CPU usage, not costly) to query large collections of data in the Realtime Database.
Collections can also become so large that they are not queryable through the SDKs, but only using the firebase cli tool. One hope would be that with an actual persisted index, it would always be possible to iterate through a collection of nodes, no matter the number of nodes in the collection.

Integrate Firebase product and developer notifications with Google Cloud Essential Contacts
Larger customers often use Google Cloud Essential Contacts for ensuring critical notifications get to the right people. Currently Firebase product and developer communications seem to go out via email to named user accounts where the customer has no control who this goes to and it may miss its intended audience.
It would be great if FIrebase notifications could be integrated with Google Cloud Essential Contacts to give customers more control over where critical notifications go to and to make this consistent with other Google Cloud services.

Add region for Firebass Imported Segments BigQuery integration.
All the BigQuery integrations with Firebase have an option to choose the region where the dataset are created. All except the Imported Segments integration. This integration only work with dataset in the US region.
Sadly, we have a organization policy that force me to use two specific regions. So when I tried to activate the integration, it's not working. I see a "US violate constraints/go.resourceLocations" error in in the Auditlog.
Feature requests: Make it possible to choose the region for the Imported Segments dataset (like it's already possible for Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring and Cloud Messaging.)

Automated testing after changes
In our web project, we have a large number of tests implemented ( Jest )
After the prototyper makes changes, we have to manually go to the code part and run the tests on the terminal shell.

AI Fixes One Thing But Breaks Another – Please Improve
When I ask the AI to fix or adjust something in my Firebase app, it works—but then it changes other things I didn’t ask for. For example, I might want to fix spacing, but it also removes gradients, transparency, or changes the layout.
Suggestions:
Let me limit the AI to only the part I want changed.
Show me what will change before applying it.
Add an easy undo button.
Make the AI focus only on what I ask—nothing more.
This would help a lot and save time. Thank you!
