  1. Make an integrated compiler to .exe file type with .py and others files to be able to create Windows apps with Project IDX. And create an emulator for desktop (Windows favourite) because I always use Project IDX when it come in Beta Public and it's annoying to download the file, test it on my computer, make changes on IDX, redownload the new file. Thank you in advance.

  6. I'm trying to use devenv.sh in IDX and it works. But without cachix the initialization takes forever and I can't enable Cachix, because I would need to set
    trusted-users = root user
in the nix.conf, which is not possible.

  7. I have to enable 3rd party cookies for 90 days every 90 days to enable IDX to run. It should rely on no 3rd party cookies. Docs: https://developers.google.com/privacy-sandbox/3pcd

  8. I believe that for IDX to go forward, you somehow need to create a UI for the dev.nix file, so that I can assemble the desired components, many people do not know nix or are familiar with it. I could, for example, choose if I want Angular, and which version of it, which version of the node I would use, so that I can build the desired model, but without using nix codes.

  10. You could connect to Figma designs, then help generate components with correct styling. It would also be great to leverage something like Tailwind for styling.

  12. You can work live in a live environment by installing the "live server" plugin while creating HTML and CSS software. It provides much better usability than the "HTML PREWIEV" plugin in the "vs code" application. but tools are needed for greater ease of use.

  14. Given that the code editor currently only offers the option to fetch repositories from GitHub, it would be advantageous to expand this capability to encompass repositories from other platforms such as Bitbucket or GitLab, as well as from local device storage.

  19. Add Github Integration to search, select and open a repo directly from IDX.

Currently, to open a repository the first time is necessary to search for url.

The ability to directly search and select repository from IDX would be very helpful for DX.

    Thank you for your work!!

  20. IDX now has project-specific .idx/dev.nix file, which configures the project-specific environment.

I'd like to have a user-specific user.nix (or similar) file which would be applied on all of my own workspaces, which would not be shared to other people using my project.

Use case: I author an open source project, which needs project level dependencies. These I'd put to .idx/dev.nix. I also have a ton of terminal and git aliases and configs that I'd like to have on my own projects, but which don't make sense in the context of my open source project.
