Keep Firebase Studio alive until Google offers a real replacement
Firebase Studio is being shut down without a true replacement, and that is a serious mistake.
For many of us, Firebase Studio was not just an experiment — it was a practical, browser-based development workspace deeply integrated with Firebase, accessible from anywhere, and useful for real production workflows.
The alternatives being pointed to are not equivalent:
Google AI Studio is more of an AI playground than a full development environment.
Antigravity appears to require high-end local hardware, which defeats the purpose of a cloud-based workspace you can use from any machine.

Its literally very much shameful how google operates. I tried multiple times to buy google cloud, google studio, and firebase but each time what i see is they deduct 2 Rs and set autopay but decline that you were not able to set your payment method. Update the knowledgebase of Gemini to stop using 1.5 versions
Every time It uses or create a google cloud function it uses 1.5 versions. Even if I tell it specifically not to use and use a 2.5 version it keep using it. Please update the knowledge of the tool to avoid connecting to outdated apis.

Firebase is garbage, unusable, and does not work for any actual coding
I have been using Replit and Claude code for over 3000 hours. Firebase doesn't even come close to being able to develope any real code or functionality. Mistake after mistake, trial and error. If you really want to fix the issues, upvote this, then have google pay me for my feedback. otherwise enjoy the useless tool. going back to reality.... to develop real apps.

I’ve been using Gemini to build an incident-report importer that cleans up CSV/Excel files and pushes them into Firestore. Right now it’s halfway there, but it still trips over a bunch of annoyances:
CSV/Excel parsing is fragile. It chokes on stray quotation marks and tiny format quirks. It’d be great if Gemini handled messy quoting and trimming automatically.
Column mapping is brittle. I need to split “Student Name” into first and last name, normalize years (“7th” → “Year 7”), and drop any unknowns. Having a simple schema-mapping feature would save tons of custom code.

firebase chat and destructive behavior
i have encounter an bug that poses many modern AI chats designed for programing.
many of them have a issue in deep logic causing issues and wiping files.foe example the firebase chat assistant have wiped my .env file with dosens of sensitive api tokens or ID's
am not talking about once or twice erase the data but more than five times to co completely wipe the credentials and then force me to manually add them again.here is firebase response to one of its destructive action:
