    I would like to know when audio processing is happening, ie. input audio and output - a bit similar to the Gemini app's Live functionality on Android. So I would like to have a way to show:

    • audio wave or audio pulsation to indicate to the user that input is being received

  4. Support to configure non-blocking tool use in Firebase AI Logic?

    Async function call (https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/docs/live-tools#async-function-calling) is helpful in many scenario, but Firebase AI Logic doesn't allow to configure it. Please support

  5. Fallback to Gemma when browser based models are not available in the Hybrid SDK

    When using Firebase AI Logic for hybrid inference, I want to be able to support users that are using non-Chrome browsers to still be able to run inference. In this case, give me an option to download Gemma and run inference for my users running a non-Chrome browser. This preserves the PREFERONDEVICE or ONLYONDEVICE flags I have set and allows my users to continue to benefit the rewards of my app without needing to download a new browser.

  8. Support Gemini TTS

    See https://cloud.google.com/text-to-speech/docs/gemini-tts for details. The API supports creating rich audio with accurate instruction following and allows for streaming. The benefit of adding support in AI Logic is that it greatly simplifies key management.

    Note: Live API is not a suitable replacement. Neither is an extension.

  9. Gemini Live API Voice Interrupts

    Requesting support for user voice interrupts when using the Gemini Live API. Currently, the model keeps talking (often for 10+ seconds) about an old topic even if the user speaks over it.

  10. Vertex AI only for authenticated users

    Currently, App Check is the only mechanism to control access to the Vertex API. This is not always practical and does not allow per-user access control.
    Please add a mechanism similar to Security Rules for Firestore, to enforce only authenticated Firebase users to access the AI APIs.
