Add support for country-based user targeting in Firebase SDK
It would be very helpful if the Firebase SDK included built-in support for targeting users based on their country. Currently, we have to handle this manually using workarounds or backend logic. Native support in the SDK for accessing the user’s country (based on IP or locale) and using it for feature targeting, in-app messaging, or remote config conditions would streamline country-specific personalization and improve the user experience.
This feature would allow us to:
Show different content or messages to users based on their country.
Better segment users for A/B testing or campaigns.
Reduce backend dependency for basic geographic targeting.

Add or delete APNs Authentication keys
Currently you have to give users/principles the Owner Role to add or delete APNs Authentication keys. We work to Principle of Least Privilege, and would like to have a subset of our user group to have this privilege. Can we get either a firebase role created to allow this functionality or dedicated permissions so we can add to a custom role.

Anything Required for Upcoming APNs Certificate Update

I hope you are doing well.
We recently received a notification from Apple regarding the upcoming Apple Push Notification service (APNs) server certificate update. As per Apple's update:
Sandbox APNs certificates were updated on January 21, 2025.
Production APNs certificates will be updated on February 24, 2025.
We are currently using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications to our iOS app (<com.datamyte.digitalclipboard>).As of now everything working as expected, we would like to confirm:

We received this email from Apple “Action Required: Apple Push Notification Service Server Certificate Update” but since our notification service is managed by the Microsoft Azure platform through the Firebase platform, do we have to update something or is the platform updated automatically?

Delivery logging in iOS
Does anyone know why Firebase doesn't support notification delivery on iOS? This is supported by other messaging frameworks such as OneSignal by hooking into Notification Service Extensions.
Firebase does have a FIRMessagingExtensionHelper class which has an
exportDeliveryMetricsToBigQuerymethod — however I didn't see references to this in the docs, how it should be used, or whether it suits my needs.The ideal scenario is that Firebase can just report iOS delivery rates in the console. It's confusing to me why this is not made simple, and if anyone has some insight here it would be much appreciated.

Targeting all users via App Package Name
FCM must support targeting all users in HTTP v1 API by App Package Name via 'to' parameter in addition to 'topic', 'condition' and 'device token' as like available in FCM console. More suitable targeting parameter may also be added.

Allow vapid key generation through a REST API call
Currently, vapid key generation is only available from the console UI. This is an issue when you want to manage firebase setup in a CI pipeline. A REST API endpoint would resolve this.

Support customized user properties to target audiences.
Support customized user properties combining with topics to send notifications through API. The default user properties are not enough to group users. Need to combine topics with customized user properties as conditions to target audiences through API. Real time and high volume notifications request automatically pushing instead of manually pushing using console.

Possibility to disable the automatic event "notification_receive" (Android) due to the high triggering of this event

Fix the spacing between the public messaging key and the date, so we can see and copy the entire public key.
We can never see the entire public key to know whether we are copying the entire key in the messaging section of the firebase console. Please fix.

Most keys that can be copied in firebase have a copy icon next to it. This one does not.
