2. Performance Network Request Integration with DIO Flutter Package

3. Sort screen rendering traces by impact

   Currently, the screen rendering trace tool displays a list of issues, but with many items, it becomes overwhelming to sift through and identify the most significant problems.

   Specific Challenges

   • Volume of Data: With many items in the trace list, manually identifying high-impact issues is impractical.
   • Lack of Prioritization: The current list does not prioritize issues based on their impact, making it difficult to focus on what matters most.
   • Efficiency: Developers need a way to quickly pinpoint and address the most significant rendering issues to improve application performance.

   Proposed Solution

   Introduce an "Impact Sort" option in the screen rendering trace tool. This sorting method will prioritize issues based on the formula: frozen frames * number of samples. By calculating the total frozen frames a given issue causes across the installed base, this option will provide a clear insight into which issues are most detrimental to performance.

4. Add velocity for ANR alert mechanism in Android App

   We have been using Firebase to monitor and improve the performance of our Android app.

   I am reaching out to you today to request the addition of a velocity alert mechanism for Application Not Responding (ANR) incidents in Firebase. Currently, we find that identifying and addressing ANRs promptly is crucial for maintaining a positive user experience. However, a velocity alert mechanism would significantly enhance our ability to proactively address issues.

   Here are a few reasons why we believe a velocity alert mechanism for ANRs would be beneficial:

   1. Early Detection: With a velocity alert, we can detect a sudden increase in ANRs, allowing us to identify and address potential issues before they impact a larger portion of our user base.

   2. Proactive Monitoring: By setting thresholds for ANR occurrences, we can proactively monitor and address performance issues before they escalate.

   3. Improved User Experience: Timely resolution of ANRs contributes to a smoother user experience, helping us maintain high levels of user satisfaction.

   We understand that Firebase is continually evolving, and we appreciate the efforts of the Firebase team in providing a robust platform for app development. 5. Add ability to view performance monitoring metrics per request method per url

   Currently, we can view metrics for specific URL patterns; however, we cannot set up separate monitoring for different request methods (GET, PUT, POST, etc.) for the same URL pattern.

   Either the ability to set up monitoring for a given request method + URL pattern combo, the ability to filter down into specific request methods for a given URL pattern, or both would be wonderful.
