  2. Provide a Migration Path for Existing Links in Printed Media (QR Codes) after FDL EOL (Similar to goo.gl Approach)

    ・The Problem:

    The Firebase Dynamic Links EOL on Aug 25, 2025, will cause millions of FDL links embedded as QR codes in printed textbooks to return 404 errors. These physical materials cannot be updated, creating a critical issue for the education sector and our publishing clients. The official migration guide does not offer a solution for these existing, unchangeable links.

    ・Precedent:

    Google has already solved this exact problem for another service. The Google Developers Blog recently announced that goo.gl links will be preserved because they are "embedded in countless documents, videos, posts and more."

  3. doesn't deprecate Firebase Dynamic Links and separately charge for the feature as part of the Blaze plan.

    Firebase Dynamic Links are slated to be fully removed by Aug, 2025 but it is such a wonderful feature and I am not sure why is it removed from Firebase suite. I am willing to pay for it and I am sure there are many other users willing to pay for it.

  4. Page not found

    I created a deeplink that opens in the in-app browser.
    Sometimes this deeplink works correctly for some users, while for others it does not. When it doesn't work, users are redirected to a Firebase error page (Page Not Found).

    I tried encoding the URL used as the Dynamic Link,
    but it still sometimes results in a Page Not Found error.

    The main issue is that the same Dynamic Link URL works for some users but not for others.
    What could be the cause of this?
