Message to anyone who suffered money bc of spam bots bc firebase makes it super-hard to disable billing in case of a spam attack. We should report this as an exploit to police authorities.
There is the illusion that firebase has some kind of protection + small websites might not have any experience in getting spammed. Therefore, it is evil by Firebase to not just have the budget alert disable billing option. This seems to me to be a way for them to drain money from small solo-developers. Also, I dont want to swap from firebase now that I already spent 300 hours using firebase. Firebase changed the terms for 10 SMS/day to force me on a pay-as-you go plan. Now I suddenly risk getting spam billed.
Anyone who want to file a police report, sign me up. This is a clear case of a scam where a large company like Firebase can get away with stealing people's money.
