    Please don't mix json w/ sql - I get it, but it was a bad idea long ago and still is. I'd favor either events so that I can write the doc to firestore or simply create a firestore connector.

    May be important if implemented well, but seems to be a code smell to have caching in the sql layer and fear that it would be a "freshness" nightmare handling it all in one place.

    The reason it's "Not at all" presumes that at some point, event writes will be a thing and I can ship the data over to Algolia or some other search location.
