Support Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) in the SDKs
KMP is now stable and more libraries are being added to KMP ecosystem. There is a big opportunity for Firebase to be in Multiplatform and support developers adopting this tech.

We're building a KMP project as a saas where we added many firebase services including firebase ai logic, auth, firestore, remote config etc. We had to manage these with thrid party libraries or actucal/expect codes with many twikings whic are too much complicated and less reliable. We need official firebase sdk to support our KMP project in the long run. Please Firebase release an official sdk for KMP as soon as possible.

KMP is blowing up and we’re itching to keep everything on Firebase. Give us an official SDK so we can ship Android + iOS features from the same code, skip the DIY hacks, and keep raving about Firebase instead of flirting with other clouds. Help us help you! :D

We use at least one Firebase SDK on all the projects we work on, KMP support is a must!!

Really big miss from Firebase Team here! Its been more than 2 years and still no announcement. This is super important for entrylevel devs and more. Really hope this is implemented soon

Adding Firebase dependencies to iOS target now is quite frustrating and not at all straight-forward. Supporting KMP would remove this barrier. Newcomers to the technology can solve almost everything now using Multiplatform enabled libraries. It would be nice to see Firebase be one of them, so configuring iOS dependency handling could become rarely necessary for small-medium projects.
