IOS simulator
IOS Simulator feature is paused please add it again. we need it 👍
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your idea with us and for participating in our community.
Because we have officially announced the sunsetting of Firebase Studio and are currently focusing on the migration process, we are no longer accepting or implementing new feature requests for this product.
We appreciate your support and understanding as we transition to our next chapter.

If we can develop ios or android in everywhere that improve productivity and decrease the operational cost, even if that has a cost, because we would avoid to buy a Mac for every developer that require work with IOS.

It really made me sad the paused it, how dare they? not having to buy a mac was the main point of idx!

+1. It's really confusing how the iOS simulator is featured in a bunch of recent IDX blogs posts (https://idx.dev/blog) but doesn't seem to be available.
The issue tracker has a bunch of users reporting this as bug, but maybe the feature request didn't fully ship?

Yes, this is my main point of interest with Flutter IDX. It's non-trivial getting iPhone emulators to work, so an iOS IDX preview would be a great way of postponing the tangent of pounding an emulator into shape. Would help me get on top of Material/iOS adaptive widgets and start learning iOS design language and UI principles. It would also help me to consider where I might like to omit UI adaptation in favour of concise code.
