Request for Biweekly and Monthly Backup Options in Firestore
Currently, Firestore only supports daily and weekly scheduled backups. We would like to request the addition of both biweekly and monthly backup options. These features would provide greater flexibility for projects where weekly backups are too frequent, but biweekly or monthly backups would better suit our needs.
Thank you for considering this enhancement to support diverse backup schedules for Firestore users.

Can't you activate a dark mode in uservoice? Don't get why dark mode still isn't the default in 2024. Am I the only one working at night :) ?

Attualmente sto inviando dati da dispositivi ESP8266 a Firebase Realtime Database utilizzando la libreria:
https://github.com/mobizt/FirebaseClientTuttavia, ho riscontrato un problema importante: ogni invio di dati consuma molto traffico Firebase a causa dell'handshake SSL (molto pesante per ESP8266) richiesto per ogni connessione. Questo rende l'integrazione con dispositivi IoT a basso consumo con connettività limitata molto inefficiente.
Per questi motivi, sarebbe estremamente utile e vantaggioso avere il supporto nativo per un protocollo più leggero e ottimizzato per l'IoT, come MQTT, che ridurrebbe drasticamente l'overhead, il consumo di dati e la latenza, migliorando significativamente l'esperienza utente della piattaforma nell'ambiente IoT.

Provide a Migration Path for Existing Links in Printed Media (QR Codes) after FDL EOL (Similar to goo.gl Approach)
・The Problem:
The Firebase Dynamic Links EOL on Aug 25, 2025, will cause millions of FDL links embedded as QR codes in printed textbooks to return 404 errors. These physical materials cannot be updated, creating a critical issue for the education sector and our publishing clients. The official migration guide does not offer a solution for these existing, unchangeable links.

Google has already solved this exact problem for another service. The Google Developers Blog recently announced that goo.gl links will be preserved because they are "embedded in countless documents, videos, posts and more."

doesn't deprecate Firebase Dynamic Links and separately charge for the feature as part of the Blaze plan.
Firebase Dynamic Links are slated to be fully removed by Aug, 2025 but it is such a wonderful feature and I am not sure why is it removed from Firebase suite. I am willing to pay for it and I am sure there are many other users willing to pay for it.

It's incredible how complex you made Firebase, because of the link with Google Cloud. Firebase used to be an easy solution, but it's all soo overly complex that I don't trust any of it.
Maybe I will suddenly get a large bill because I made a mistake, or the configuration is bad. It's really annoying. Your service has gone from an easy to use cloud solution to a complete mess of configuration annoyances, security angst, complex issues.
The documentation is overly complex. You loop around in al the options. And everything refers to Google Cloud again.

MLKit support for Apple Silicon
It's been 2 years that we can't test our app on Apple Silicon (M1/M2 processor) with emulator (see: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/178965151).
It force us to run our tests & deploy on old machine, witch is quite annoying.

Phone Authentication
Estimado equipo de Firebase,
Estoy desarrollando una aplicación móvil en Flutter que utiliza Firebase Authentication con verificación por teléfono. El proyecto está orientado a usuarios en Nicaragua (+505), pero al intentar enviar el código SMS, recibo el siguiente mensaje de error:
"SMS unable to be sent until this region enabled by the app developer."
Ya he habilitado la autenticación por teléfono en la consola de Firebase, configurado números de prueba, y activado la autenticación multifactor por SMS. Sin embargo, el envío de SMS reales sigue bloqueado para esta región.
Solicito amablemente que se habilite el soporte para envío de SMS…

Give firebase studio/project idx access to cloudshell scripts

Native Swift implementation of the Real-time database client
The current Swift client for the Real-time database is written in Objective-C with a Swift overlay.
In order to allow using Firebase from Swift across different platforms like Windows and Linux, it would be awesome with a native Swift version. Alternatively a Swift version bridged directly from the firebase-cpp-sdk using the new Swift C++ interoperability.I did a port of the Objective-C code to Swift as an experiment, and I have it running on Linux just fine - together with the Auth-rewrite in Swift.
