The ability to change Default GCP resource location would be extremely helpful. It defaults to the most expensive one, and for static websites it's just not needed. Could become costly, or require deleting and recreating the project if the site gets too big.

Isn't this with the preview of multiple databases now a kinda solved problem?
Yes it's not fixed for changing the location for an existing Firestore database.
