Desktop (Windows, Linux, MacOs) support for Flutter apps that use Firebase in production apps

Flutter developers should be able to run their apps on desktop platforms, including Windows and Linux, when using Firebase services. For example, Flutter developers should be able to 1) apply Analytics to data from desktop platforms, 2)
use Remote Config to customize their apps for desktop users, 3) use other Firebase services that are relevant to desktop apps, etc.

This would make it easier for Flutter developers to build and deploy production-ready apps for desktop platforms.

    please add this. Love flutter, my small startup is based around flutter and firebase, loving it for mobile and even web is good, but need firebase for desktop! Thanks

    I think that the request is ambiguous. There is already a package for firebase already .. but it is 3rd party. However, that is not firestore. There is firebase (realtime) and firestore (storage database).

    I'm looking for firestore implementations.

    I still dev desktop apps and site all the time. I'd love for the Flutter environment to give the desktop equal lfeatures. Thanks

    It is insane that we've gone this long without official support for Windows. Let's get this in there immediately. It's shameful that such a high-profile package doesn't fully support all of Flutter's platforms.

    I chose to use Supabase because of the incomplete cross-platform support of Firebase.

    Without Desktop support from database, how can we really build multiplatform apps with Flutter? People will need to find alternatives eventually if support won't be added so I would say it's a pretty critical request
