1. Add devices running iOS 17 and 18 in Test Lab

   The newest iPhone model and iOS version available to run in Test Lab is an iPhone 14 Pro running iOS 16.6. With iOS 18 recently released, it would be great to have support for newer devices (iPhone 15 and 16 models) running the newest iOS versions (17.x and 18.x).

3. Allow for testing of eternal BLE / BT devices, even if by mocking

   My company develops and markets a BLE-connected device for stress management. The device is controlled by our Android and iOS apps.

   I would REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY love to have a way to test the interaction between different API levels and smartphones and our device, both for Android and iOS. Lack of this is really the Achilles'heel of any Test Lab - style automated testing facility, and if this feature does not work properly, any bug on the rest of the app does not matter.

   I have been thinking of mocking the device via an ESP32 or Raspberry Pi running its own test scripts, and I am sure that something like that can be achieved by a specialized app on a separate smartphone.

   But I think that you at Google have the resources and know how to do something even better.

   Creating virtual devices with a special Bluetooth / BLE implementation whose behavior can actually be scripted. Basically mocking the transport and hardware layer, and providing the same interface to the upper levels and to the app.

   Imagine how many other clients you could get. basically any smart device manufacturer would use the feature - and as you are the owners of Android, your implementation of it would be the best.

4. Design an app that uses the phones full potential

   To help the homeless is my reason cause I am currently homeless so the news is great also it has a Robin Hood theme cause we are gonna use the money from the people that are lying and down if to the ones the actually need it .... 6. Available token usage meter or dashboard lights similar to a gas tank.

   Need an idea of how many tokens I have available or how fast I'm using them otherwise it's rather an opaque process of running tests and seeing no action due to exhaustion of free credits.

9. Add ability to choose Test Lab's device location

   Some applications are very dependent (in performance perspective) on resources from CDNs & backend location - it would be great if we can choose location of the Test Lab's device location (preferably Android real devices) to set it closer to CDN & backend.

14. Android Studio Robo Script Recorder should support Jetpack Compose

    With Android Jetpack Compose becomes more and more popular, it is pretty sad to see that Android Studio Robo Script recorder doesn't support Compose screen. Even though robo script support compose but it is very time consuming to generate robo script manually for every Jetpack Compose screen. What makes it even harder is that app crawler is no longer support testing generated robo script locally.

15. Per test case history with insights

    Hello, for the longest time I would like to have more insights into per-test-case data. I would love to have better viewable history of a test-case to see its performance over time. Currently, I have to dig in through every single matrix and piece together the data on my own. I wish Test Lab provided these insights for me. I want to see the health of my tests over time. What is a failure rate for a particular test? As an example metric. Other metrics, how flaky are my tests? Can I see how healthy one particular test by classname has been over the past 6 months? Etc. This is a long-standing wish-list from Test Lab. Other ideas: why can't I query all the recent native crashes that happened? Let me see that in a view. Let me export that data. I just want more insights (bonus: visualizations) and health data :)

17. Firebase Test Lab IAM should allow making Test Results, with records and what not, fully publicly accessible

    For e.g. public open source projects, it would be very useful if Firebase Test Lab IAM could be configured to allow making Test Results, with records and what not, fully publicly accessible.

    According to the discussion on Firebase Support Case 10251960, "Making test results publicly available is something that's not yet possible on our end. "

19. Add Android Beta devices in TestLab

    Before each new Production version, it would be nice to have available in Testlab the Beta version of each Android release.

    For instance, as of now when this message is being written, I would like to run all the test suite against the new Android 14 beta using Testlab, but I can't.

20. Robo test have full compatibility with unity game engine

    We've been trying to create automations utilising Robo test on our games built with Unity, but were unable to record the UI inputs due to our project being built with the NGUI framework which is not currently supported within the automation framework provided so any attempts to set up testing steps are not being recognised.

    We'd like to suggest that Firebase Robo test have full compatibility with 'Unity game engine' in order to get around this problem and be able to consider the different types of UIs used within in games and apps as this would allow us to proceed further.

    We're happy to provide further feedback on what was attempted here at Supersolid during our trials and answer any questions you may have around our suggestion.
