1. Add support for Google Play "automatic protection"

   Currently, manual steps on the play store developer console is required to create an application that has Play Store "automatic protection" enabled:
   https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/10183279

   We have found that "automatic protection" is error-prone in multi-process applications and applications that include native libraries/code. It would be really helpful to our manual QA process to be able to programmatically distribute applications with "automatic protection" enabled on them.

3. App Distribution should have at least basic management of email notifications

   There is no option to set email preferences for tester groups in Firebase App Distribution. It is unnecessary to pester everyone with emails when they can find the last app version in App Tester.

4. Anything Required for Upcoming APNs Certificate Update

   Dear Firebase Support Team,

   I hope you are doing well.
   We recently received a notification from Apple regarding the upcoming Apple Push Notification service (APNs) server certificate update. As per Apple's update:
   Sandbox APNs certificates were updated on January 21, 2025.
   Production APNs certificates will be updated on February 24, 2025.
   We are currently using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications to our iOS app (<com.datamyte.digitalclipboard>).

   As of now everything working as expected, we would like to confirm:
   Does Firebase automatically support these APNs certificate updates, or is any action required from our side to ensure continued push notification delivery?
   We appreciate your guidance on this matter to ensure a smooth transition without notification disruptions.

5. Add support for local npm packages

   Change the behavior of dpeloy for functions so that if a local (file based) npm package is listed in the package dependencies, the package will be uploaded with the function.

   It is a major pain for local packages to not be supported in uploading cloud functions.

7. API support for insertMany and updateMany

   Currently Data Connect insertMany and updateMany mutations do not support being passed multiple records via the SDK. Figure out a way to enable this so we can insert multiple rows in the same “@transaction” via the API.

11. Clickable results in firebase query mode

    When using Firebase UI query mode, the results are not really human readable. I'd like the document ID field to be clickable, taking me to the panel view of that document, so I can see the document in a readable way.

    Connect IDX via SSH like GitHub Codespace. Can Terminal and use full power of IDX on Terminal. Some Developer use Terminal Tools like neovim, so it's will easy to connect and use.

    Cloud functions do provide process. env.FIREBASE_CONFIG.

    One can set it in the yaml, but it would be nice if app hosting would provide these automatically.

19. More space for IDX projects 100GB

    We can't complete a basic yarn install our monorepo at work. We run into the following error.

    ENOSPC: no space left on device

    While trying to complete the yarn install. I've returned several times to the IDX project and have finally given up trying to do practical work for our live production projects with IDX as we can't even install our packages at work to get our projects running. What an absolute collosal waste of time.

    Please for the love of christ increase the project capacity so we can get our commercial projects running in IDX.

20. Better Composite Indexes UI

    Currently, table for Composite Indexes is hard to read, I have some suggestions:
    1. Sort collection ID alphabetically
    2. Group by collection ID
    3. On Fields Indexed, remove "name"
    4. Shorten "Ascending" to "Asc" and "Descending" to "Desc"
    5. Fields shown in Fields Indexed column should be displayed vertically
