Descriptions for Tester groups
It would be nice to be able to add a description to App Distribution tester groups so that we can add instructions for other admins that manage the same dashboard. We impose limits on who should and shouldn't be added to certain groups, and while this is enforced by tooling we periodically run, it would be nice to have proactive instructions for other admins to see instead of always having to reactively act to revert unwarranted changes.

Why can't just use apt?

I'm a fullstack dev, that uses Flutter to client-side and Node.js to the server-side.
That's why I downloaded at my personal linux computer, the following CLIs: node, npm and flutter.
But, when I started to try to use idx, I found an obstacle!
The terminal doesn't allow me to use neither apt nor snap, to download flutter SDK to my workspace(that was created by a GitHub repo).
So, I created another workspace, selecting "Flutter" this time.
And now, I can't use node, because APT is not allowed!
Neither sudo exists!(My terminal is bash)

Can we have the Live Share Extension on IDX
I've been teaching students using IDX these days, more or less for fun and also to test how well the IDX AI performs w.r.t React.js. A feature that I use sometimes on the local machine is Live Share extension.
A brief description of the extension -
The Live Share Extension on VSCode enables other dev to work on the same instance of VSCode on multiple files, which is extremely useful when creating small scale projects.
I understand that it is developed by a different company (Microsoft) but it will be helpful specifically for teaching purposes.

Lower the time needed for spinning up VMs
Spinning up VMs can take some time, which is annoying as I have no access to my IDX workspace during this time. Would it be possible to be more specific about the number of VMs needed in each region? I mean, you know how many users you have in each region, and you could maximize efficiency by counting the time of day in each region. I suppose it would even be possible to make predictions based on the data collected.

Jira Cloud Integration for Post production issue type:
Currently, Crashlytics only supports Bug issue type with Jira Integration. It would be helpful if it allowed other issue types, such as post-production issues.
This solution allows users to integrate with their organization's Jira issue-type standards, including Pre-production, Post-production, and Defects, instead of relying solely on the issuetype "bug".

Setting the exact version of a nix package I need in the workspace
For me, it is crucial that I run a project with a specific version of Go for example. So it would be great if I could set the version of the Nix package in dev.nix. Perhaps right next to the packages that I have to and need to decal anyway.

I'm creating a Contact form in a React app, which stores the user input in firebase. I'd like to secure the form with a visible reCAPTCHA, and I'm trying out firebase's built-in reCAPTCHA functionality.
firebase/auth/RecaptchaVerifierdoes provide a callback, which can be used to sign in a user, and documentation shows it working when signing in with a phone number. Can it be used with anonymous authentication though?When the form is submitted, I have a server component that saves the form fields to firestore. However, how can I verify the recaptcha before committing the data to firestore?

We have a workaround by using Realtime Database, but if you don't work realtime databases in your app, this seems inefficient and cumbersome. I'd like to see a native method for Firestore that offers this functionality. Perhaps offer a onSnapshot.disconnect hook.

In Firebase auth using phone auth in flutter, please add a feature for creating a user with a custom uid, probably via the admin sdk

});, if email and password are created, please create the user via that login method and if only phone is provided and no email, then let the user be created via phone auth. Create way to duplicate documents within firebase console so we can easily move them elsewhere
Sometimes it would be nice to have ability to use the console to Duplicate/Copy firestore documents and put them in different locations of the database.

Integration with Chrome Extension Dev
I'm an independent extension developer and I still find it very difficult to create extensions, meaning few creators are interested in this area. To resolve this, can you add a way to preview our extension's changes on the host site in real time, perhaps using the rollup-plugin-chrome-extension already?

Encrypted Collections in Firestore
Ability to mark certain collections to be Encrypted so it's not readable even in the firebase console.
There are some application types that require this sort of behaviour to increase security.
Say you are building a messaging app, you would not want the messages between your users to be seen on the console.
