   The Firebase Dynamic Links EOL on Aug 25, 2025, will cause millions of FDL links embedded as QR codes in printed textbooks to return 404 errors. These physical materials cannot be updated, creating a critical issue for the education sector and our publishing clients. The official migration guide does not offer a solution for these existing, unchangeable links.

   ・Precedent:

   Google has already solved this exact problem for another service. The Google Developers Blog recently announced that goo.gl links will be preserved because they are "embedded in countless documents, videos, posts and more."

   This situation with goo.gl is precisely identical to the critical issue we face with Firebase Dynamic Links. As we have explained, our publishing clients have embedded FDL-generated QR codes into printed textbooks, which cannot be altered. The very rationale that led to the preservation of goo.gl links perfectly describes the predicament of our clients.

   Redirection-Only Grace Period

   This is a critical business continuity issue for many developers and their clients. We strongly request that the Firebase team provide a viable solution.

4. Better way to backup Gemini Conversations

   I use a second-brain tool that leverages markdown files (Obsidian). So I would like to be able to download each of my Gemini sessions in Markdown files to easily add to my vault. Having to export the json from the files or drag to copy and paste is not efficient or a great user experience.

10. Multi device collaboration

    Currently people cannot work on separate branches simultaneously. Only one branch is active even if multiple people are using the project in the studio. It would be a good feature to have where different people can work on different branches at a time. with each branch being locked to a specific user and other user cannot changes until that branch is released. Team collaboration will be much more effecient and people can work on different features at the same time.

15. Allow users to select important milestones for restoration.

    I recently found that the looooooooong chat was removed and it improved the response time of coding. That was great. But there was a downside to it. I lost many important milestones, that i might have wanted to restore back to. It will be great if you allow the users to mark important milestones to retain when the cleaning of chat happens. That way they will be able to restore back to preferred versions in case required.

    Or they will be stuck with the experimental request that led to more damage than good.

17. Distinguish Prod environment projects with color

    Rightnow, if a firebase project environment is set to Prod, then its only show Prod badge in red color. But that's not enough distinction. Especially on big screens. Along with the badge, also consider updating the console background color to something like deep red. At the moment, I installed a chrome extenstion and overwrite the css on conditional basis targetting this class main.content background color to #2b0000.

20. Use a matrix for the implementation of rules to create a simple checkbox solution.

    When documents are created they form columns within the rules area. While users are listed in the rows. Users are sorted by type to differentiate their access. The users then simply checks the applicable column for each user type. This will enable simplistic and visual rule management which is easily edited.
