3. IDX UI templates

   IDX is very nice and well built. Are the themes and components that IDX use available for use in applications?

   It would be nice to have a designer to drag and drop Angular components from a palette and have it automagically generate the components. It would also make sense to allow us to use our own components in the palette.

   Also along these lines, it would be nice if such a designer would allow you to connect @Input and @Output between elements and other services through an interface resembling a "patchbay" in the audio recording software world. So you could connect a control's cell factory to a data source without having to go into the docs or look at the code. You could insert validations in between the calls by simply reconnecting the inputs and outputs. That might require some way to map APIs or interfaces, but i'm sure it can be done.

   Along these same lines, you might as well have controls like a Gemini bot that you can edit the properties to set the prompt and othe r parameters, or optionally get them from a datasource or event. You could have a place for contributors to submit their controls, themes, etc, with a way to apply them straight from the IDX interface without doing alot of code or installing npm packages by hand.

   Providing this level of control allows to fine-tune the project setup from the very beginning,Currently,a new project, IDX often proceeds directly . I would find it incredibly beneficial if the process included the following:

   Pre-Execution Step Visualization: Before the project build process begins, IDX should display a clear overview of the steps it intends to take. This could include:

   Listing the frameworks and libraries it plans to install.
   Showing the versions of these dependencies.
   Outlining configuration steps or boilerplate generation.
   Indicating default settings or parameters that will be applied during these steps.
   Showing the planned initial project structure and file layout.
   Editable Setup Steps: Crucially, this visualized list of steps should be editable by the user before the build starts. This would allow developers to:

   Modify or remove specific steps.
   Change the versions of planned libraries or frameworks to meet project requirements or compatibility needs.
   Edit default configuration settings and parameters associated with specific setup actions within those steps (e.g., modify database connection details, change port numbers, adjust build flags, etc.).
   Select alternative dependencies where applicable.
   Customize or modify the initial project structure and file organization (e.g., change directory names, add or remove standard folders like src, tests, config, adjust main file locations).

5. Support Direct VPC

   A static IP is a must-have feature when dealing with certain services.
   In the past, we could use Serverless VPC Access connectors, but this required renting a virtual machine (VM), which contradicts the principles of serverless architecture and significantly increases costs.
   Recently, a new method called Direct VPC has emerged, which eliminates the need for connectors. This means it is truly serverless, even when using a static IP.
   Currently, Direct VPC can be configured by revision in the Google Cloud Console. However, I would like to enable Direct VPC in Firebase Functions as an option, like so:

6. Support MFA and future AuthN

   Currently when using the emulator you can't use MFA as it throws an error and the only way to test this functionality is to switch over to using the real version. This is cumbersome and makes it difficult to test your auth workflow. Also your adding Authn as well and I hope that is support by the Auth Emulator as well.

9. Audible prompting

   Whenever the IDE has stopped processing and is waiting for the user to provide a response, for example, accept an update, it would be nice if the IDE could be configured to omit a small bleep or other attention seeking sound. These days with multi monitor setups, as you wait for one AI window to finish its task, you might well switch to another window to continue with something else. It would be nice just to get a small (optional) audible notification to get your attention.

    The email sign in template contains a timestamp in the email title and body, so email are not collapsed into a sigle thread.

    I believe the current date time format, such as 2024 November 11 13:33 UTC is not user friendly, and should be replaced with a more readable format, such as Nov. 11, 2024, 11:33.

    The mail language is already based on the language set in the Firebase Authentication -> Template language section, so the formatting can be done based on the same setting, or a new option can be added in the Firebase Console to select a format.

18. API key management for Studio apps

    There seems to be a problem that if I create an API key for a specific app, the key will still say its under my ownership even though the app was deleted. Could you add a API key manager integrated into Firebase Studio itself so this problem doesn't occur?
