4. Allow users to select important milestones for restoration.

   I recently found that the looooooooong chat was removed and it improved the response time of coding. That was great. But there was a downside to it. I lost many important milestones, that i might have wanted to restore back to. It will be great if you allow the users to mark important milestones to retain when the cleaning of chat happens. That way they will be able to restore back to preferred versions in case required.

   Or they will be stuck with the experimental request that led to more damage than good.

7. Firebase App Hosting Punycode Support

   When using a custom domain on Firebase App Hosting, we encountered the inconvenience that Punycode is not supported. As a result, we had no choice but to repurchase a new domain and redeploy our site. If Firebase App Hosting were to add Punycode support for custom domains—enabling the use of Hangul-based domains—Korean developers would be much more likely to adopt Firebase services for deploying their sites.

8. I would love this to be a loveable.dev but on steroids. Connecting fully and easily with all the databases and backend software google has

   I would love for the studio to allow for prompt engineering all the backend. Similar to lovable with supabase but ideally prompt to connect to all the amazing services google has!

9. Gemini Pro Plan Also Account For Usage In Firebase Studio

   I have pro gemini account but i cant even use gemini 2.5 pro in firebase studio. Also which is worse than just use shotgun code with AI Studio. More context and more controll . Also free !

10. Use a matrix for the implementation of rules to create a simple checkbox solution.

    When documents are created they form columns within the rules area. While users are listed in the rows. Users are sorted by type to differentiate their access. The users then simply checks the applicable column for each user type. This will enable simplistic and visual rule management which is easily edited.

12. Way to handle doom loop coding

    I've been running into an issue repeatedly letting Firebase Studio AI try to fix an error that it keeps re-detecting. It acknowledges that it's a persistent issue, but none of the fixes seem to work. I'm not sure how to fix it either. Maybe it would be good to have a way for the AI at some point engage human support on the Google side? Or maybe open up for a request to identify and investigate problems the AI seems to be struggling with?
    Here's the particular error in this instance:

14. Make Firebase Test Suite available for the Firebase Studio

    The problem a facing is: I'm a solo developer with limited resources who want to use Firebase as my entire Back-End solution, but I don't want to need to move to the Blaze plan just to test my integrations with externals APIs (not from Google), exclusively during the development stage.

    It would be good to have an alternative to Firebase Local Suite on Firebase Studio. It could have the same resources of the Spark plan and work only on Firebase Studio's workspaces, but with the addition of being able to connect to external APIs, such as Stripe and others.

16. Prototype an app with AI seems to only allow NextJS + Tailwind. Let it use clientside frameworks such as react or vue.

    Right now, you can only do nextjs + tailwind. However firebase hosting works best with single page apps like react or vue. No matter what you prompt however you can't get that.

    I'd love to see it allow you to build a vue + vuetify app that uses firebase functions for backend functions.

    Obviously i can built it myself, but the whole point of the vibe coding is i don't need to. Why call it a "firebase" product if it doesn't want to use the firebase way of building apps?

19. Filtering crashes for the latest release shouldn't change time range

    When pressing "Filter crashes" on the info banner about the latest release, the time selection also silently changes from "Last 7 days" to "Last 24 hours".

    It would be easier to compare between all crashes and crashes from the latest release if the time span didn't change unasked like that.
