  1. Settings Sync between workspaces

    Technically a follow up to Persist Environment Settings Across Sessions, but it's a PITA to reconfigure user settings and manually install extensions on every workspace, so generally speaking I badly need Settings Sync (not the third-party extension one for context) for Firebase Studio.

    A template for capacitorjs android app

    I do make apps using capacitorjs which bundle the html,css,js (or any frontend framework code) to the assets of android app and use the android webview to show the UI.

  5. Add a fetaure To auto fix bugs It auto reads from debug Console and fix them

    Currently It is Not that good as Cursor and SOmetimes it gives a lot of bugs and i ahve to copy paste them As after dev it says i cannot test app if it can read console and fix the err it see then it will be helpful.
    aslo Improve it's Coding abality Give support of 2.5 pro

    Firebase Studio should generate a devcontainer.json compat file for reproducible dev environments outside Firebase Studio such as Remote Containers in VS Code and GitHub Codespaces, like devenv does (https://devenv.sh/reference/options/#devcontainerenable)

  9. App Distribution API includes information whether tester have installed the app

    Currently the only way to know whether a tester have installed a version is through the Firebase Console. I wish we could get this information through the App Distribution API too. Currently we only have lastActivityTime which is not very useful: https://firebase.google.com/docs/reference/app-distribution/rest/v1/projects.testers#Tester

  12. Feedback on "Prototype with AI": Performance Issues, Bug Loops, and File Save Failures on Larger Projects

    Here are a few suggestions to improve the Prototype with AI feature:

    Problem: On larger projects, the AI becomes slow and often gets stuck on the same bug. It also frequently fails to save code changes, sometimes just adding a blank line to the file.

    Suggestion 1: Add a "Clear Chat" Button. Please add an option to clear the current chat and its memory. This would allow us to quickly reset the AI when it gets stuck in a repetitive loop, which is a common issue.

  13. AI Fixes One Thing But Breaks Another – Please Improve

    When I ask the AI to fix or adjust something in my Firebase app, it works—but then it changes other things I didn’t ask for. For example, I might want to fix spacing, but it also removes gradients, transparency, or changes the layout.

    Suggestions:

    Let me limit the AI to only the part I want changed.

    Show me what will change before applying it.

    Add an easy undo button.

    Make the AI focus only on what I ask—nothing more.

    This would help a lot and save time. Thank you!

  19. Firebase Authentication for EU

    Currently, Firebase Auth is US only. Because the EU-US-Privacy-Shield is not valid anymore, transferring data to the US is for EU companies not allowed. Therefore, Firebase is not GDPR complaint. Allowing us to choose the storage location (like you can weigh Firestore or Cloud Storage) to use a data center in the EU (like europe-west1, europe-west3 or europe-west4, etc.) would make Firebase much more GDPR complaint (beside the Cloud-Act).

    Please note that full regionalization for Firebase Authentication is separate, and is still expected to reach preview in Q4 this year.
