1. Firestore Rules Tab - Separation of Concerns

   Firestore rules tab should allow deploying multiple tabs so that all rules are not in the same rules container in the UI. This will allow us to create separation of concerns(collections) to their own tabs. To prevent massive running list of rules.

   As an example:

   I have 2 collections

   Users
   Pets

   I should be able to write my rules for Users in a tab.
   Then in a completely separate tab, write the rules for Pets

   Then deploy them individually or all at the same time.

2. Saving chat convo per task like in cursor ide

   Current chat feature in prototyper gets too long and going back to previous request is difficult. It would be nice to create a separate chat convo per task. The prototyper will auto save the task and giving it a title or description about the task. This way it is easier to go back to the task if we want to update or revise related to the task. At the same time easily restore the code to that particular task

7. Superior Version

   I propose creating a "Superior Paid Option" that would provide subscribers with technical developer assistance in situations where the built-in LLM is not capable of overcoming complex tasks. It could be a simple Chat Option, but at the very least, an email option to allow creative people with great ideas (but lack the technical ability) to flourish. The "Paid Option" could also provide for better LLM options and can go towards more dedicated software improvements to make this application "Ultra" amazing!

8. Add region for Firebass Imported Segments BigQuery integration.

   All the BigQuery integrations with Firebase have an option to choose the region where the dataset are created. All except the Imported Segments integration. This integration only work with dataset in the US region.

   Sadly, we have a organization policy that force me to use two specific regions. So when I tried to activate the integration, it's not working. I see a "US violate constraints/go.resourceLocations" error in in the Auditlog.

   Feature requests: Make it possible to choose the region for the Imported Segments dataset (like it's already possible for Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring and Cloud Messaging.)

11. Enhanced Git Branch Integration in Prototyping View

    Hello Firebase Team,

    I'd like to propose a feature enhancement for the Prototyping view in Firebase Studio that would significantly improve the development workflow.

    My suggestion consists of two parts:

    1. Current Branch Visibility: Display the name of the active Git branch somewhere visible within the Prototyping UI. This would prevent confusion and eliminate the need to switch back to the terminal or IDE to confirm the current branch.

    2. In-UI Branch Switching: Add a dropdown menu or a similar control that allows developers to quickly switch between their local Git branches directly from the Prototyping view.

    Implementing this would streamline the process of testing and comparing different feature branches, making development much more efficient. Thank you for your consideration.

13. Get back to the previous versions at any point of time.

    This is crucial yet important feature, firebase should have. To get back to the old versions. As i experienced my project broke completely, and now i have no option to just go back 2 prompts up and fix it as it was.

    We would like a way to opt-out of our data being used for model training without disabling the agent, Gemini, code completion, and/or code indexing. The current policy provides broad access to our code, prompts, and responses when using these features:

    To block the use of your prompts and responses for model training, do not use the App Prototyping agent, and do not use Gemini in Firebase within Firebase Studio. To block the use of your code for model training, turn off code completion and code indexing in your Firebase Studio settings.

    The Firebase Dynamic Links EOL on Aug 25, 2025, will cause millions of FDL links embedded as QR codes in printed textbooks to return 404 errors. These physical materials cannot be updated, creating a critical issue for the education sector and our publishing clients. The official migration guide does not offer a solution for these existing, unchangeable links.

    ・Precedent:

    Google has already solved this exact problem for another service. The Google Developers Blog recently announced that goo.gl links will be preserved because they are "embedded in countless documents, videos, posts and more."

    This situation with goo.gl is precisely identical to the critical issue we face with Firebase Dynamic Links. As we have explained, our publishing clients have embedded FDL-generated QR codes into printed textbooks, which cannot be altered. The very rationale that led to the preservation of goo.gl links perfectly describes the predicament of our clients.

    Redirection-Only Grace Period
    Following the goo.gl precedent, continue to resolve and redirect existing FDLs for an extended period (e.g., 2-3 years) after the EOL date. New link creation could be disabled, but existing links should not break.

    This is a critical business continuity issue for many developers and their clients. We strongly request that the Firebase team provide a viable solution.

    I’d love the option to sign in to my app using Discord. Currently, it isn’t listed as a provider, and having this option would make the sign-in experience much smoother for users who rely on Discord. Gemini said several times that it did have discord in the provider list.

    Currently, making minor content changes requires the following workflow:

    View the page in a preview.

    Identify the section that needs a change.

    Go back to the code editor to find the corresponding file and line of code.

    Manually make the change.

    View the page again to verify the result.

    This improvement would dramatically simplify this process. It would allow developers and content creators to make quick text and structure edits directly on the visual interface, similar to how content management systems (CMS) or browser development tools (like Chrome DevTools) work.
