Custom quality control for "latest release"
Latest Release is a very useful functionality. For us, even when we have crashes that are worth hot-fixing, it shows as successful. It must go terribly wrong in order to see "Needs investigation" label. This is because these thresholds are hard-coded. It would be great to configure these thresholds

More Firebase emulator testing/building company owned device usage.
I think for the development of Emulators, the software development, learning, teaching and implementation, there needs to be more readily available devices that developers and testers can utilize for developmental learning. As a conservative company of development, we urge our team to try to learn as much about the latest devices, firmware and OS's they can. That being said, there's only so many hours in a day for them to do so, so I suggest we have more options to "borrow" a company device, to utilize having the physical device whilst testing/building Emulators and therin. Thank you

Expand the schema of the exported table from Firebase to BigQuery
We'd like to have the possibility to expand the schema [0] of the exported table from Firebase to BigQuery, in such a way that the following information appears in the exported table to BigQuery:
“ALLSENDS, REMOTENOTIFICATIONRECEIVED, REMOTENOTIFICATIONDISPLAY, REMOTENOTIFICATION_OPEN, Impressions, Notification Title, Notification Text and Languages for campaign”.

Cypress is a popular UI automation testing tool for web, and I would like to run it within an IDX project!
This is the error I get when trying to run a Cypress test:

Analytics - Buggy engagement times when doing manual screenview tracking
Not really a feature request, but a pretty old bug which makes analyzing user engagement impossible.
When disabling automatic screen tracking via "googleanalyticsautomaticscreenreportingenabled" and doing it manually via SCREENVIEW events, engagement times are logged completely wrong.
Engagement time is wrong by a factor of 10 compared to our ios apps.Find more details in the following bug-report:

Phone number for testing in firebase emulator
It would be great to be able to configure static MFA validation codes / phone numbers for testing in the emulator, like in the normal firebase auth product.
This would make testing an application with automated tests a lot easier.

Email link authentication API should provide an option to configure the language of the email sent.
Currently, we can just configure one language for every user on the authentication template page. It seems to be possible using "custom email action handlers" but this requires an additional work that is not mentioned in the doc. This lack of option and the additional work to have a usable product in a professional context should be mentioned in the Email Link Authentication doc.

Supports Cloud SQL connection with Firebase Functions V2 natively as it was with V1
Migrating a Firebase Functions project from V1 to V2 using Cloud SQL is not feasible. It appears that Cloud SQL connections are not yet supported in V2. Cloud SQL connection works automatically and required no actions in V1. It would be beneficial if connecting to a Cloud SQL instance using V2 could be made as simple as it was before.

Add error stack trace to the testing emulator
There is no error stack trace with the emulator for cloud functions. Which makes it very hard to deploy since you will encounter many errors. It's a real pain.

Blank template needs to be a lot more... blank
I was really surprised how much content is included in the blank template. I can get behind having the html file, JS, and CSS, but they should actually be empty, or mostly empty. The HTML file can have a base skeleton (html, head, body, that's it), but the JS and CSS files should be empty. I'm having to remove a lot to get to a 'proper' blank.

Jira Cloud Integration for Post production issue type:
Currently, Crashlytics only supports Bug issue type with Jira Integration. It would be helpful if it allowed other issue types, such as post-production issues.
This solution allows users to integrate with their organization's Jira issue-type standards, including Pre-production, Post-production, and Defects, instead of relying solely on the issuetype "bug".

Larger more User Friendly Base Text Setting
My suggestion is a larger base text size that is more friendly to the broader public. The IDX base text setting appears to be scaled down. Although this can be adjusted, my initial entry into the application was less pleasant due to how small the text was compared to my usual Visual Studio Code dev environment.

Support array-contains-prefix operator in Firestore
You can build a search index in a Firestore collection by storing an array of search words.
If you query this property using 'array_contains' you get exact matches for your search string.
If you wish to build a prefix search, then you potentially need to store all prefixes of the words you need to index.Assuming that the array-contains is performing some kind of index scan, it would appear that it was possible to create an array-contains-prefix such that:
where('index', 'array-contains-prefix', 'fire')
would match the following documents[
{ index: ["firestore", "database"],
...
},
{ index: ["firebase", "dog"],
...
}…
