1. Improve firestore explorer UI - it is too small

   The UX when reading large objects in the firestore explorer UI requires too much scrolling in small windows to find the information you are after. I'd propose to:

   Note: "window" here refers to where the container where the data of a document can be found or alternatively where all the collection can be found. So the firestore explorer contains usually, a collection window, a document window, (a sub collections window, a document window,...).

   • collapse maps by default, or collapse maps if the object is larger than the current window. When dealing with large objects it's currently annoying to find the information by scrolling.
   • make the explorer bigger or add a button to have the explorer as full screen. Currently takes only half the space available on a 15 inch screen.
     • when you have a subcollection and you are watching a document in this sub collection, the collections and documents are aligned vertically. It would be nice to have a handle to be able to resize which of the sub collection or document take more vertical space.

2. Raise the number of workspaces limit

   Hey Project IDX team,

   I don't want to have a limit of 2 workspaces in project IDX. Can you lift the limit of two workspaces to maybe 50-100? I want to draft a lot of flutter, angular, and react projects in project IDX. Thanks.

   Add Cloud native backend template / integration with tools like Serverless framework, Openshift, Docker app, etc or even with popular cloud services such as aws lambda, step functions, multiservice (eventbridge boilerplate) or AzC / GCP equivalents...

10. Cloud-IDE integration

    Integrating UI or CLI interactions (that are necessary to manage cloud resources) into the IDE:

    1. error console
    2. logging console
    3. resource information list (for a particular code base)
    4. Ways for cloud providers to do something like Live Lambda Development in a way that's native to IDE (see https://docs.sst.dev/live-lambda-development)

12. Separate idx/dev.nix into a flake.nix and a simpler idx config file.

    For experienced nix users, the channel and packages parameters overlap with flakes enough that there's no need to wrap them up in a bespoke DSL. If a project already has a flake.nix that includes a devShell, it's not clear how this should be wired up.

    For inexperienced nix users, being forced to learn Nix to edit the idx-specific entry seems unnecessary.

13. html, css development problem in live environment

    You can work live in a live environment by installing the "live server" plugin while creating HTML and CSS software. It provides much better usability than the "HTML PREWIEV" plugin in the "vs code" application. but tools are needed for greater ease of use.

17. Lack of wanted plugins

    It's a great feeling to experience "Project idx". I'm so glad I was able to experience this. When we type the "Go" language or experience any language and want to install a plug-in, we see that the options are very limited.
