Automatic SMS OTP read with English templates
For automatic SMS retrieval to work, SMS length has to be under 64 bytes. This means currently that for English SMS template, the app name has to be 11-14 characters. Play Console allows max 30 characters. Firebase doesn't allow customers to modify the SMS template contents themselves. Now I'm working around by utilizing some other languages, that will fit below 64 bytes with current app name.
Two options I suggest to achieve this:
1) Modify the English SMS template: remove unnecessary filler words and make it shorter, so that it will fit to 64bytes with max 30 char app names.…

Available token usage meter or dashboard lights similar to a gas tank.
Need an idea of how many tokens I have available or how fast I'm using them otherwise it's rather an opaque process of running tests and seeing no action due to exhaustion of free credits.

Firebase Unity SDK Cache Hits
When making a request to the realtime database through the Firebase Unity SDK I have no identifier knowing wether the data I get is a cache hit or if it is directly from the realtime database. Either a way to make a request to the DB directly without ever caring about cache or just an identifier wether the hit was cache hit or not would resolve most of my issues.

We would like to broaden the Crashlytics velocity error percentage so that we can trigger velocity alerts at larger percentages than 1%. 3% would be ideal for our purposes.

Enable Desktop App Distribution
Allow desktop app developers to distribute DMG and EXE files via app distribution. This is part of a wider topic of enabling Firebase tooling for desktop environments but seems like a quicker win.

Previous Chat Pick Up After Page Refresh in Console
Sometimes it's necessary to refresh the page to determine if a rollout is completed. When doing so it also refreshes the chat with Gemini. If there was a way to either prevent that, or have a "Pick Up" from previous chat option, that would be beneficial. Reasoning: as a new developer, I use Gemini in console to help with errors, problems or issues i don't clearly understand, and having a context window that contains the steps previously taken goes a long way in efficiently and effectively fixing aforementioned problems without having to start over with the explanation.

Log thirdPartyPrincipal in storage audit logs, similar to firestore
It seems GCP audit logs can capture all the operations on the firebase storage bucket, but the actor that shows up in the logs is a service account, rather than the end user. Is there a way to capture the end user who is requesting storage objects?
When I look at audit logs for firestore, I see a thirdPartyPrincipal that includes the end user, but this doesn't show up in the storage audit logs.

Console: free up space to work on medium size screens
Outside the office, I work on an 11" Chromebook and the console layout is not at all user-friendly for screens that are not large.
The spaces in the appbarr, title, navigation and footer bars take up a lot of space and are fixed, the content of the page that is left for editing is very limited, having to scroll each line and some services do not even have space to open the item to be consulted, like in analytics, for example, some cards are truncated.6 votes -
Request for Biweekly and Monthly Backup Options in Firestore
Currently, Firestore only supports daily and weekly scheduled backups. We would like to request the addition of both biweekly and monthly backup options. These features would provide greater flexibility for projects where weekly backups are too frequent, but biweekly or monthly backups would better suit our needs.

Firestore look like a hobby project. No import export facility to bring data from other database server like Mysql, Postgre, etc.
This prevent it from being used for serious application development and any developer will not recommend it to use.
Also there is no facility to run queries to see data, group by,and all those things.
Developer will not recommend it unless all these basic things are available.

Anomaly detection / notifications
If using Firebase with mobile apps, under Analytics - Firebase overview
We are able to see Anomaly detected points on the charts - but we would like to be able to receive alerts/notifications on this.
Such a feature would be incredibly beneficial, as we have a number of projects/apps within Firebase.

Stability score
Currently firebase crashlytics shows crash free users and crash free sessions, although ANRs are also equally important. ANRs create a bad user experience which is comparable to a crash.
By showing a stability score which considers ANRs as well as crashes, we can show a true representation of app health. This can be at the session level.

Firefox extension support with Firebase Auth
I have created a chrome extension using firebase auth and I am trying to create a Firefox version of the chrome extension.
It seems that Firefox extension domains (moz-extenion://) are not allowed to be added to authorized domains in firebase making it not possible to using firebase auth I am assuming.
Is this simple feature addition in the pipeline - to allow web-extensions (not just chrome) domains to utilise firebase auth?
Are there any other workarounds?
