Hi Firebase Performance Monitoring team,
Thanks for the great work! I’d like to suggest a few improvements that could significantly enhance usability:
Percentile visualization: Consider adding an alternative chart type like a ribbon area chart or box plot to show all percentiles (e.g., 50th, 75th, 90th, 95th) simultaneously. This would make it much easier to interpret performance trends at a glance without toggling between individual percentile lines. It could be available as an optional view in the percentile dropdown menu.

Importing from Google AI Studio Build
Firebase Studio should have an option to import from Google AI Studio Build. I'm not a coder, but I'hve managed to imagine beautiful and very useful app idea on on Build, but I cannot import it in Firebase Studio for publishing with Firebase App Hosting. I can download from Build, and important it in Firebase, but that don't work like what I create on Studio itself.

AI Fixes One Thing But Breaks Another – Please Improve
When I ask the AI to fix or adjust something in my Firebase app, it works—but then it changes other things I didn’t ask for. For example, I might want to fix spacing, but it also removes gradients, transparency, or changes the layout.
Suggestions:
Let me limit the AI to only the part I want changed.
Show me what will change before applying it.
Add an easy undo button.
Make the AI focus only on what I ask—nothing more.
This would help a lot and save time. Thank you!

Create a hotfix command
This command will go through the whole codebase, update dependencies, fix any configuration files, and update everything for Android and iOS. As well as comment on anything that breaks the app. This command basically cleans the repo and makes sure it just runs.

Allow changing title or at least subtitle of crash group
What happened to us was Crashlytics decided to group only loosely related crashes, same uncaught Objective-C exception in the title field but totally different error message and root cause (displayed as subtitle).
But now we have fixed the original first issue, and the remaining crashes have a different message than the one that still appears in the subtitle field on Crashlytics dashboard, which causes confusion each time a new developer takes a look at the open crashes ("didn't we fix this one already?") before realising it's now a different issue.
It would be great if we could at least choose…

Filtering crashes for the latest release shouldn't change time range
When pressing "Filter crashes" on the info banner about the latest release, the time selection also silently changes from "Last 7 days" to "Last 24 hours".
It would be easier to compare between all crashes and crashes from the latest release if the time span didn't change unasked like that.

Sort event parameters by key in Logs and breadcrumbs view
The log event parameters appear in a random order, changing from event to event, crash to crash, making it hard to search and find the parameter of interest. It would be nice if the parameters would be sorted by key, so the one of interest would be easy to find.
(Maybe the order is whatever happened to be serialised in the original crash report. But since it was attached as an unordered
Dictionary<String, Any>via the FirebaseAnalytics API, there's no way to control the order in which they appear in crash logs.)2 votes -

Allow more complex functionality let it build apps from templates in certain languages from the templates in the prototype builder and allow more complex designs to be made.

Automatically configure and integrate Firebase Products (Firestore, Auth, etc)
When Prototyping or using the Virtual IDE, Gemini will ask to Automatically configure and integrate the Gemini API key...
This should be a similar experience for ALL Firebase products.
If you app need a database > it automatically configures and integrates Firestore.
If you need authentication > it automatically configures and integrates Auth.This should all be done in line with prompting. I shouldn't need to open another web page or console to configure any back end infrastructure.

Your Workstation has stopped. Please refresh the browser window to restart it.
I get this notice multiple times a day. Every time it happens I lose various parts of my session state, for example terminal scrollback, test output, etc. Every times it happens it takes multiple minutes to get the workstations back up and running. It often happens when I switch to some other task while waiting for a long running operation to complete.
I understand the need to preserve resources, but it would be a much better experience if workstations were preserved for the full day, or at least 4 or 5 hours.
Needless to say, this does not happen when…

Small screen friendly
If possible, make an accordion style layout when using firebase studio in mobiles for when ideas come and you are away from the PC. You can just use your mobile and ask Gemini to add the code and maybe adjust it alittle here and there
