API Project Support

I wanted to create an Android app using Pythagora.ai through an extension, but since Pythagora doesn't show up in the extensions, I considered using ClaudeDev, Aider, and Continue. However, I can't use Aider because I can't install Docker

Manual recovery
As Project IDX is still in beta, there's a few issue that might result in workspace being stuck in state where it cannot be recovered. For example, I was impacted by

It would be nice if the "Launch Recovery" button will be available, even if the system did not detect any error. Issue like this can be easily be fixed if we can changed the dev.nix file with a manual recovery.6 votes -
Preserve the idx IDE configuration
Make a feature or improvement where we can preserve the IDE configurations like themes and other configurations.
Once we log out from the IDE after 1 or 2 days, the theme resets, all the default configurations are reverted, and all the extensions are removed.16 votes -
Option to download files from the Dashboard, from Workspace option.
Right now I cannot to access my Workspace which contains many code files and I am locked out due to some error. we can avoid this by allowing users to download all of the contents that are in the workspace like how "Gitpod" handles, directly allowing them to download the files by adding additional "Download" option in the workspace option. even if there are now virtual machines are available users would be able to access their files.

More detailed and informational --- like how to improve start up time.
I may be missing on something such as how to filter the feature but this to me is a glorified graph just depicting start_up time that I can grab from anywhere i.e. logcat.
